Overview

M-BASE is a Self-adhering SBS modified bitumen base sheet. It incorporates the features of a tough, fiberglass reinforced mat that is saturated and coated with a blend of SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) rubber and high quality asphalt. The elastomeric asphalt blend has full recovery properties after 100% elongation and lends a high degree of elasticity and flexibility to the sheet. The back surface of this membrane is Self-adhering and is protected with an easy to peel removable release film. The top surface is covered with a high quality woven polyethylene that provides optimal adhesion.
