With EXCEL II^TM, homes are more energy efficient. They are protected from wind, rain and moisture. EXCEL II^TM provides maximum resistance against air leaks. Basically, it's a structural air barrier that's easy and faster to install, which means it's more cost effective. EXCEL II^TM breathes thanks to micro-perforated pores on the factory-calendered polymer composite membrane that allow it to vent out moisture while keeping air or water from coming in. It requires no additional installation of braces, struts or lateral support.

Like its predecessor, EXCEL II^TM is strong enough to allow platform building, with a very high resistance to product damage and without compromising performance. What's more, EXCEL II^TM is free of any products that contain ozone-depleting CFC- or HCFC-type chlorofluorocarbons.
