Weather-TiteTM sponsors the weather and battles it, too!
Montreal, August 15, 2011 - Building Products of Canada will launch a 30-second television commercial for its patented Weather-Tite™ technology on the Weather Network from August 15 – September 11, 2011.
The 30-second message dramatically demonstrates how Weather-Tite™ adds superior protection to help BP’s line of laminate shingles withstand the harshest weather conditions. Weather-Tite™ technology features two high-tack sealant bands that resist uplift, and lock out water and wind driven rain.
Roofing contractors who rely on the Weather Network forecasts to plan their projects will be particularly interested in this new shingle’s power to resist the onslaught of Mother Nature.
“ Weather-Tite™ is groundbreaking technology that delivers hurricane-resistant protection. Since the weather can be a big newsmaker these days, we believe our ad will work to support our customers’ selling efforts,” explains Robert Caron, BP’s Vice-president of Sales and Marketing.
The Weather-Tite ad will run 12 times every day in addition to a “Local Forecast” sponsorship, which will be seen 7 times a day throughout Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada.
